When using a connection box as part of your Ncam system, it is required to configure the Ncam Reality software to connect to it.

# Power

Ensure the connection box is powered. This is indicated by the Blue LED

# Network Connectivity

Connect a **gigabit **ethernet cable between the connection box and the **ETH0 **interface of the Mk2 server

:::hint{type="info"}
Damaged or poor quality ethernet cabling can cause issues with tracking, we strongly advise making sure the ethernet cable is in good condition
:::

:::hint{type="danger"}
We don't advise having additional devices sharing the network link between the Connection box and Mk2 server

# FAQ

:::ExpandableHeading
## "Cannot Open Video Stream"

This error message is displayed when the software is not able to interface correctly with the Camera Bar. Reseat the USB connection and retry the connection process. This issue is likely to happen when the connection box receives insufficient power. If the problem persists, try using an alternate method of powering the Ncam equipment
:::

:::ExpandableHeading
## "No Connection Box Found At......."

This error message means that the connection box can not be detected at the destination entered by the user. Confirm that the connection box is directly connected to the Mk2 server via a good quality and working ethernet cable, and that the cable is connected to the ETH0 port of the Ncam server
