Editing A Calibration

3min

Introduction

Editing a calibration is useful when needing to add or modify calibration information. The two primary uses are:

  1. A lens template from a similar lens has been used and it needs tailoring to your specific lens
  2. Only the initial Golden Point has been conducted and additional calibration points need adding
  3. You need to "retarget" the lens to a different camera sensor

Editing A Calibration

To edit a calibration, make sure it is selected in the calibration dropdown in the calibration panel

Following this, select the "Edit Calibration" button

This will bring up the camera and lens settings window.

You are able to modify the basic details of the camera or lens if required, as well as redo or amend the lens mapping.

If none of these fundamental details need changing then proceed to the Lens Calibration window by pressing the "Refine Calibration" button
