Connecting To A Connection Box
When using a connection box as part of your Ncam system, it is required to configure the Ncam Reality software to connect to it.
Ensure the connection box is powered. This is indicated by the Blue LED
Connect a gigabit ethernet cable between the connection box and the ETH0 interface of the Mk2 server
Damaged or poor quality ethernet cabling can cause issues with tracking, we strongly advise making sure the ethernet cable is in good condition
We don't advise having additional devices sharing the network link between the Connection box and Mk2 server
An LED is provided on the connection box to indicate the connectivity status of the Connection box, the various states are listed below
LED Color | State | Action |
---|---|---|
Blinking Green | Working as intended | |
Blinking Amber | Issue with network connection to Ncam Server | Check the network connection, reboot the device |
Red | Critical Software issue | Contact [email protected] |
Amber | Software Deactivated | Reboot the device, contact [email protected] if the issue repeats |
