Connecting Remotely

If you are interacting with the Ncam server remotely, then the two interfaces can be reached as follows:

WebUI

Enter the hostname/IP address of the Ncam server into a web browser from any device that is on the same network. The Ncam server will be shipped with the hostname printed onto it and will be in the format: NcamXXXX, where XXXX is the serial number

Often a modern web browser will try and "search" when entering text into the address bar. To make sure the browser does not do this, enter the hostname in the following way:

http://NcamXXXX.local

Mk2 Hotspot

The Mk2 server by default generates a Wifi Hotspot, this offers a straightforward method to connect a mobile device to the server, the default password is "ncamncam"

Full UI

Connect to the WebUI as above, then navigate to the Helpers tab, select the Use Full UI option, this will open a VNC connection to the server.
