IR/ND Filters

the ir/nd filter pack is made available to assist with operating the ncam system in certain environments and use cases the filter pack includes 2 ir filters these can be identified by the cutouts, they only allow ir light to pass through them 3 nd filters these feature no cutouts and are used to reduce brightness of natural light 5 adhesive vinyl's these are used in conjunction with the filters and are used to affix the filter to the camera bar when to use them ir filter the ir filter should be used when operating the system in circular marker mode the filter will help cut out non ir light which will make the circular markers much clearer to see for the system the ir filter can also be used when working in natural tracking mode and the environment is illuminated by an ir floodlight (not provided by ncam) this combination allows for tracking in environments where there are substantial changes in natural lighting nd filter these should be used when trying to use the camera bar in very bright environments, such as outside in full sunshine/daylight this will allow the camera bar images to be properly exposed and avoid areas of the image being "blown out" how to apply
