Protocol

Currently FreeD via a UDP connection is the supported protocol when working with Ncam Reality and Zero Density

Lens Distortion

Because the FreeD protocol is not able to transmit lens parameters, all lens calibration must be conducted within the Zero Density software

Encoder Ranges

When configuring the Ncam tracking data within the Zero Density software, use the following encoder values for the zoom and focus encoder mapping:

  • Zoom Min Constant - 524900
  • Zoom Max Constant - 1580000
  • Focus Min Constant - 524900
  • Focus Max Constant - 1580000
