Reverting to an older version

Due to how the Reality software is now managed, it is not possible to have multiple separate installations of Ncam Reality concurrently installed.

Because of this we strongly recommend only updating Ncam Reality when there is ample opportunity to fully test the system, do not upgrade immediately prior to a live production

Once the selected installers have been downloaded, copy the files to the Mk2 server

On the Mk2 server open a web browser and connect to the WebUI by navigating to the 127.0.0.1 network address

If using a connection box, make sure it is connected to the Mk2 server correctly and that inside the Ncam Reality software it is connected and that the witness camera streams are visible in the UI

Navigate to the "Helpers" page and select "Offline Install"

In the pop up window, drag and drop an installer. Only one installer can be done at once, so if updating a connection box, repeat the process again

Open a terminal by pressing "Ctrl + Alt + T".

In the terminal, navigate to the folder that the installer was copied to, for instance, if the installer is on the desktop of the server then this can be reached like this:

"cd Desktop/"

Copy the resulting text into the terminal window and press enter. This will install the software on to the device
